On June 1st, Thaton township, Donthami security checkpoint, near Durin Seit village which is the border between Mon State and Karen State was attacked by the revolutionary alliance groups.
KNU Brigade 1 issued a news that within the battle 8 police men from the military council were killed including deputy police captain and many were injured. The same fashion on June 1st around 5am in the morning Belin township Military council police security gate called Thantatar gate was attacked by KNU joint forces for an hour long, the battle was intense.
After the battle 10 military council members were killed and many were injured. Within the two battle two local defense forces were killed and some were injured.
