According to Mandalay residents, Royal poinciana trees planted on both side of the road side of 38th Street, known as Daw Aung San Suu Kyi Road in Maha Aung Myay Township, Mandalay Division, are being chopping off and cleared by using machinery and manpower.
They have removed the red flower Royal poinciana trees and are replanting small five-foot-tall saplings. It is a type of small yellow flowers.
