Around the vicinity of La ie Village, Yee Nwe Village group, Pekon Township, Southern Shan State. On January 10th, starting from 8:00 a.m. until the evening, the military council fighter plane circle around the villages according to the Karenni State Youth Group that the locals were scared because the plane was flying above them.
The military council fighter plane hovered once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once in the evening, so more than 50 children who were studying had to flee nearby in panic.
Concerns are also rising among local residents and war victims. In the vicinity of La Ie Village, Mobye Township, 2,000 people who are fleeing from war are living there. According to Mobye’s People’s Defense Force Information section said the military council troops scouting not only Pekon township but also in Mobye township in Kayah State.
The Military Council Army is carrying out aerial surveillance in the area of Pekon Township as well as in Mo Bae Township.
