The army torched and destroyed (65) houses in Kan Thit Village, KhinU township, more than 30,000 people were affected by the fire.

Sagaing Region, Shwebo District, Khin U township, Kan Thit Village’s residents said that a column of more than 100 soldiers burned down 65 houses in Khin U Township for the fourth time on June 4th.

This column started on June 1st and has been raiding villages in Khin U town and causing havoc. Since the military coup, around 6,000 homes in 74 villages in Khin U Township have been burned down by the State Administration Council’s military troops, and more than 30,000 people in the entire township have been affected by fire and need help every day, according to Khin U Township News report.
