According to a press release from the Dawei Guerrilla Revolutionary Force-DGRF, a military council vehicle was fired upon in Dawei Township, and three people, including an officer, were killed.
On July 12th, at 2:30 pm, in Dawei City, it was reported today that the Dawei Guerrilla Revolutionary Force-DGRF (2nd) Company opened fire on a Military Council vehicle near the 302nd Artillery Battalion of the Military Council in Zaha village.
He said that after being hit, the military council vehicle fell to the side of the road. Still, the attack force had to retreat due to the arrival of reinforcements from the military council’s side while collecting the weapon.
It has been reported that three people, including a lieutenant and Corporal Kyaw Kyaw Oo, were killed, and two were hospitalized because of the attack. After the shooting incident, the soldiers of the military council burned down a nearby palm syrup shop and shot two civilians, according to a press release from DGRF.
