Sagaing Region, Shwebo District, Khin U township. On February 13th, between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m., around 100 soldiers from military council’s column and Phuy militia from Ma Kyi Tone armed with guns and machetes attacked the village with firebombs and kerosene matches.
More than 250 public houses in the southern part of Khin U Township were burn down. According to Khin U Township’s FB social network, it was burnt by kerosene matches and a 70-year-old nun was also found burned to death inside the house.
In the comments of Khin U Township’s True News FB social network, there were those who commented, “ Can’t we do anything about the 100-strong military council’s column?” and most of the people wrote that they felt sad.
