Kachin State Phakant Township, It has been reported that the Military Council bombed the headquarters of KIA Battalion (6) in Gensi Saira today on April 19 between 5:34 and 5:40 in the evening with 3 jet fighters.
“ It was reported that 3 jet fighters took off from the Myitkyina airfield at 5:16 pm today, and bombed the 6th KIA battalion headquarters at 5:35 pm. 9 bombs exploded around the KIA camp. It is known from local sources that one of them sank into the ground without exploding, and that the surroundings of the bomb exploded as if the like clearing the trees on the hill like cutting down for farmimg.
The fighter jets that dropped bombs on the KIA battalion (6) camp were Y-130 type jet fighters. The bombs exploded near the camp, but the KIA forces were not harmed, according to local sources.
Yesterday morning, 30 members of the Military Council from Nanya Camp were escorting more than 70 people from Saifara Village as human shields when they were intercepted by soldiers from the KIA Battalion (6), killing 4 members of the Military Council and seriously injuring 10, including an officer.
