On March 17th, at around 5:00 p.m., the Military Council convoy that arrived north of Sey Min Taw Village was attacked with heavy weapons by Ganggaw District Battalion-18 (YNRF) and Myanmar Royal Dragoon Army (MRDA) and some casulities on the State Security Council’s side. On March 18th, around 12:00 p.m., the rear guards of the military council convoy were attacked by Ganggaw District Battalion 18 (YNRF).
Ganggaw District Battalion 15/16/17 (YRA) and YDF Battalion 15 (Shwe Som Nyo) joined forces in a close attack, killing 4 military council soldiers. It is reported that two soldiers from Ganggaw District Battalion -18 (YNRF) were (non-critically) injured, and one soldier from Ganggaw District joint Battalion 15/16/17 (YRA) was killed.
