Nyaung Pingyi village was set on fire again

Sagaing Region, According to the residents, the military council troops are setting fire to Nyaungpingyi village in Sarlinggyi township this morning.

After the defense forces attacked the police station in Nyaung Pinggyi district on May 9, the military council launched a counter-attack, forcing the entire village to flee.

Sar Lingyi Township People’s Administration said that at least 650 homes were destroyed by the military council’s arson within 12 days.
