Three police men were killed in an attack while patrolling as police convoy in Kani.

The 17 members of the police sentry around Kani Township, Sagaing Region Ward (3) Thone Dount chun, Kyopinhla quarter was ambushed in the morning around 7am by DPRA group, resulting in the death of 3 policemen and the seizure of weapons and ammunition.

1 G3 gun; 90 rounds of G3; 3 boxes of ammunition; 1 phone 1 speaker 200,000 Kyats and 2 bulletproof vests were seized.

At around 8:45 a.m., a heavy weapon was fired from the Kani military council base camp to Yagyi village, which is not related to the fighting, and 1 civilian was killed by a bullet and 1 person was injured.
