The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) announced on September 20 that increasing restrictions on humanitarian access are hindering the delivery of critical aid to those in need. Armed conflicts continue to occur in the northwest and south of the country, civilian deaths continue, and humanitarian assistance is limited in some areas.
The military council has been working to control INGO and NGO organizations that provide humanitarian assistance more than before, according to the civil organizations that provide assistance. In addition, the whole of Myanmar in 2023 UNOCHA announced on September 20 that according to the latest statistics as of September (11), there have been more than 1.9 million internally displaced people.
