The agriculture/ Livestock/Irrigation Minister of the Military Council said that the arrest of a non-CDM employee while returning to his wife is the responsibility of his action. PDF arrested a Non-CDM employee in Kantbalu Township.
On June 2nd, Kantbalu Township, Kyaw Myo Htwe, surveyor 4 of the Agricultural Land Administration and Statistics Department, came to the office. After being released from his duty, he went to a Chatthin village where his wife lived, and at night, he was arrested. When the department reported the arrest, the Minister said the arrest was the sole responsibility of the person concerned.
When the department reported the arrest, the Union Minister said, “ I sympathize with him.” “ Returning to his wife without self-consciousness is the subject’s responsibility.” He said that he had “ made repeated warnings.”
Concerning that incident, departments/universities should be aware of and follow up and provide security awareness to employees. We were notified on June 19 to live and travel with security precautions. If there is a health/bereavement issue, please do it only after you get permission. Not to leave the office outside of duty while going to/leaving the office. When traveling to outside places, do not wear a prescribed uniform. It is reported that they have been informed to avoid traveling and to report any threats.
