Residents of the area reported that the military council forces came and arrested nine youths in the night of May 24 in Wailu Wun North Ward, Sanchaung Township, Yangon Region.
Currently, it is not known why the young people were arrested and where they were taken.
When the young people came to be arrested, the military council army came and arrested them along with their names and addresses. It is reported that some young people were beaten by the military council troops.
The families of the arrested youths do not know where they have been taken, so they are worried about the danger to the youths’ lives.
