Karenni (Kayah) State, it is reported that there is a fierce battle on the Hpruso-Bawlakhe road. According to those close to the military, some of the military council’s weapons were obtained during the battle.
Last September 25 in the battle near Nangphe village, the bodies of military council soldiers and some weapons were found.
The military council is also trying to recapture Maese city, which is controlled by the Karenni army, including controlling strategic roads in Karenni state.
