Sagaing Division Khin U Township, On April 26th and 27th, around 400 houses were burned in the Myo Thit Village, and one resident died in the fire. In addition, a woman who was released after being arrested by the military council was also injured in a life-threatening condition, according to local residents.
Currently, the residents of Myo Thit are taking shelter in nearby villages and monasteries and are in need of support. The Myo Thit village is a village next to the highway connecting Khin U and Ye U, with about 600 houses and 700 families. Residents said that more than two thousand people live there.
