Sagaing Region, More than 2,500 people from 4 villages are fleeing because the army is patrolling in Khin U Township according from the locals.
On June 8, Khin U Township, the military council column that came from Ye U and entered into Khin U Thanbo village, causing more than 2,500 residents from nearby four villages to flee the war. The column is said to be entering and firing into villages at night and early morning.
As the column entered Khin U Township’s Thanbo village, Chaungsone village, Kyikan Village, and Yae Aye Kone village. It is reported that more than 2,500 residents from 4 villages, including Yae Aye Gone Village, are avoiding the convoy and villagers need a lot of help.
