Officers in the Mae Sot District Registration Department are under investigation for issuing 700 pink cards.

Mae Sot, Thailand. It is reported that three officers of the Mae Sot District Registration Department are being investigated in connection with the issue of issuing pink cards to 700 people, including PDFs.

The three officers are issuing pink cards to migrant workers, Myanmar anti-dictatorship forces and PDFs from Myanmar.

He said that more than 30 million baht was illegally obtained by issuing pink cards to 700 people who were members of the Myanmar anti-dictatorship forces and PDFs.

In the past three months, an average of 15 to 20 pink cards were issued per day, and each card earned 40,000 to 100,000 baht.
