It is reported that the bombs used by the military council in the air attack on the Karen region are believed to be bombs made in Thailand, according to Captain Dabaw, the operations commander of the Cobra Regiment of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA).
During visit to the place where the military airstrike took place, Thai letters were found on the bomb shells in the ruins of the building.
The Cobra operations commander said the strange thing is they bomb our place continuously from Lay Kay Kaw to here and we found out that the bombs shells has Thai letters on it and we think it is made in Thailand.
In the past the bombs used by the Burmese military have no Thai marking he said. He said that providing the Burmese army with such explosives and weapons is an act of encouraging the actions of the military council that is killing the Burmese people.
Recently, some top leaders of the Thai government and military met with the Chairman of the Military Council.
