2022 December (30th), Maw lite. On December 20th 2022, the Military Council troops attacked Maw lite Township in Sagaing Division and opened fire on them.

Maw lite region is also an area where internet and phone line connections have been cut off. According to the local residents, the Military Council attacked Maw lite Township by land and air forces, and 13 villages were burned down.
At present, 15 thousands internal displace person are facing various problems for avoiding for being killed, as well as having without shelter, food, clothing, and health care are also in urgent need.
