Shwebo Township, On July 29th, 40 military council troops entered and deployed in Seikkhun village, residents from nearby villages such as Tint Tae village, Kyauk Myint Village, Nant Tha Kone village are fleeing from their homes. Since February 2022, the military council troops have often raided and destroyed Seikkhun village, which has more than 20 wards and a population of more than 4,000.
In addition, last March, two residents were killed when the army attacked the Seikkhun village by aerial. Currently, about one-third of IDPs are being fed by the farmers’ association, which cost about ten baskets of rice per day, which is causing difficulties for the revolutionary forces. The people of Shwebo Township have been fleeing the war for the past two years, and about 4,000 people have been moving to various places in Tabayin Township.
