Karenni State, according to KNDF’s press release on September 4th, Comrade Leone, who was killed in the Pufar village battle, was recognized and recorded as a martyred hero.
It is said that Comrade Leone was killed in the battle of Pufar Village on August 31st while resisting the military council forces.
The Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF) sympathizes with the families of Comrade Leone’s death. Battalion No. (6) also reported that they had a lot of grief.
KNDF soldiers opened fire at the funeral ceremony of the fallen soldier Leone, and according to the release, KNDF Battalion No. 6 will continue to fight for the fallen soldiers.
