Sagaing Region, Salingyi town, according to the local residents, the Military Council troops shot and killed a citizen in Kangone village on September 4th at around 10:00 am.
“ The military council troops hiding in the factory opened fire for no reason when they told him to stop a passing by on a motorcycle in front of the acid factory,” said a resident of the village. A man driving a motorcycle across the front of the factory and riding with a goat was shot at for the second time on the pretext that he did not stop shooting.
“ The first shot was fired because he was driving without stopping. The first shot hit his arm and the second shot went off. He continued to drive and died at home,” he added.
He was shot by the military council army and received one wound on his wrist and a puncture wound on his back. According to local news reports, the military council in Sagaing region is often killing innocent civilians for no reason and committing war crimes on a daily basis.
