At about 6 o’clock yesterday evening, the 48-year-old village military council-appointed village clerk U Than Kyaing was arrested by an armed group while he was at his home.
It said he was found dead near the road to Minte Village. It is reported that the body of U Than Kyaing, a military council employee, had bullet wounds to his head and face. After U Than Kyaing body was found by local passers-by, military council teams came to investigate and picked up the body, he said.
