SAC troops staged an offensive against SetKant village which is located in Kalay Township and burnt 11 houses. A Setkant village is a big village comprised with 700 houses mainly a home of Chin people.
In addition the pastor of the IPCM Church of the Chin people was also arrested by the military council forces, and it is not known where he was taken.
On the 5th and 6th, the houses in these villages were burned down by the military group. At night, the military group opened fire by motors shelling 65 year old man was injured. The military group is still present in the village. Most of the locals are hiding in Kale town, and those who remain in the village are also afraid of the military group.
