April 5th Era’s Eyes. In the morning on April 5th two border guard-BGF outposts were attacked by the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and joint forces, in the town of Shwe Kokko, north of Myawaddy city in Karen State.
It is reported that the fighting is going on in the neighborhoods near the new city of Shwekokko, and the BGF forces and the joint forces of the KNLA are fighting on both sides.
During the fighting, there were casualties on both sides, including officers from the BGF side. Photo. CJ
