Sagaing Division, Kantbalu Township, The Kotaungbo Revolution KTB-R group announced that the entire Kotaungbo’s market in Kantbalu Township was destroyed by fire because the military council troops opened fire on the market.
Between the local defense forces in Kotaungbo district and the military council troops stationed in Kotaungbo village were conflicted. After the conflict, the military council troops opened fire on Kotaungbo Market with heavy weapons. Because of this shooting, the whole market was destroyed and some public houses were also hit and burned.
