According to a press release from the Kyaikto Resistance Force (KRF), a military council convoy passing by on the Yangon- Mawlamyine highway was attacked and drove away. Kyaikto Township, It is said that the KRF and joint forces opened fire on a 7-car convoy of the military council that was passing on the Yangon-Mawlamyine highway between Mayanchaung village group and Moke Pa Lin village group at 11:20 p.m. on July 11.
It is reported that KRF and joint forces attacked the 7-car convoy of the military council with small arms and 40 mm mortar hitting the vehicle and the military council convoy that was hit but continued to drive away.
The convoy that ran away due to being shot at left side of the road threw grenades, etc. It has been reported that an innocent civilian was hit by a hand grenade as a result of frantic firing with small arms by the convoy.
According to the press release, the attack was carried out by a joint team of the KNU/KNLA, ABSDF including the Kyaikto Revolutionary Forces (KRF), and the Wild Crow column attacked the convoy and was able to retreat without any injuries. #Era’sEye
