It is reported that in the evening of April 11th in Salingyi Township, Sagaing Province, Bakhatha (ABSFU) youth students and local villagers joined forces to hold a strike and joint protest against the military dictatorship.
In that demonstration, the people held the slogan “ 5/ Fight for Kanbalu” and shouted slogans calling for the eradication of the terrorist fascist army.
Monywa University Students’ Union, Lapantaung taung main strike group, and local people participated in the joint protest. The military council’s jet fighter bombarded a place where many civilians were gathered in Kanbalu District, Sagaing Division.
