It is reported that the NLD party sent a message to the International Democracy Day committee led by the Committee Representing Peoples’ Parliament (CRPH).
Today, September 15th, the International Democracy Day ceremony was held online by the (CRPH) at 10:00 am. 16 years ago, September 15 was designated as International Democracy Day, and every year organizations and the member countries joined hand in hand to celebrate that day.
The NLD said that various citizens are still struggling to fully achieve their goals. It has been reported that some countries, including Myanmar, are suffering from the fact that the builders of the dictatorial system are fighting against the democratic society in an illegal and inhumane way.
In this year’s International Democracy Day theme, “ Empowering the Next Generation” , it is written that democratic rights and human rights are intended to empower the new generation, but young people in Myanmar are putting their lives first in order to succeed in the spring revolution, they have been fighting against the military dictatorship to restore democracy and human rights.
As NLD, it is working together with people around the world to achieve human rights, democracy, and human dignity as well as basic rights that lead to peace and prosperity.
