According from the locals that the Tigit Maha power line, which transmits power to Yangon-Mandalay Nay Pyi Taw, has been detonated.
The Tigit Maha power line is supervise and maintain by the Office of the General Authority of Power Lines (Loikaw) which is located near Saw De Daw Village 132 KV power line BalueChaung (2).
It is reported that the Tigit Maha power line was interrupted on the night of January 21. Last year, the power lines connected to the Lawpita power plant were blown up, causing long-term power outages in some cities, including Yangon.
