According to the local news the SAC troops and 30 militia attacked Ywa Thit Village which is located in southwest of Khin U township on the side of Ye U- Nyaung Pin thar road. The troops burned houses, farm equipment and a small bridge over the Muu river which has been used by villagers to cross the river for fleeing the war.
Khin U Township’s True News Team said that due to the arson attack by the military council army, one farm cow died and about 20 animals suffered burn injuries. In addition, residents said that almost all the houses in Ywa Thit Village were ransacked and food, backpacks, and phones were stolen.
In Khin U Township, over 2,900 homes in 60 villages were destroyed by arson by the Military Council Army, and there are about 15,000 homeless people, according to Khin U Township True News.
