Karen National Union’s Phapun (Mu Kyaw) district, a BGF troop which was taking sentry in the area was attacked by KNLA, during the attack some from BGF troops were killed and KNLA seized some weapons issued a statement by KNLA brigade 5.
BGF troop which take sentry in Gas station in the Phapon district between Wadoo and LaeKwe was sudden attack by KNLA and five BGF soldiers were killed. They confiscated 6 weapons, four M 16-AR, 320 bullets, one M-79 launcher and 17 bullets, one 9MM pistol, 4 sets of military equipments, four M 16-AR magazines, one walki talki, and six backpacks.
In the battle KNLA no one was injured on KNLA side. The military council troops and BGF station in Phapun district has been frequently sabotaged by KNLA troops by using guerilla tactics and military council troops are suffering.
