According to the locals the 33rd Division of the Military Council arrested and killed 4 people including PDF members from Monghtaung Village, Sagaing Division and dumped their bodies into the Mu River.
The two bodies of the People’s Defense Forces, who were abducted by the military council, were found under the bridge near Nyaung Pin, and two people are still searching because of the tide is increasing and difficult to find.
Moung Daung village is only one mile away from the Mandalay road, and also Tartine village where the massacre took place is only three miles away from the Moung Daung village.
