The Union of Solidarity and Development Party marked its 13 years of founding anniversary celebrations on June 8th, at the party headquarters in Naypyidaw. In the event the party chairman U Khin Yee said the party will win decisively.
The ceremony was also attended by retired Lt. Gen. Tin Aye, former chairman of the Union Election Commission, and former Minister of Defense. The USDP lost most of the seats in the 2015 and 2020 general elections and by-elections contested by the National League for Democracy.
