Yesterday, September 3, around 7:00 p.m., the Myawaddy police station and the district governor’s office were bombed by the revolutionary forces.
Eleven people including Aung Kyaw Min, temporary battalion commander of light infantry 275; General Chief Officer U Tun Tun Nyein, General Manager Senior Clerk Phae Phyo Aung, traffic police officer Nay Lin Soe were killed. In addition, according to a leaked statement from the military council, 11 people, including Myawati District Police Commander Lieutenant Colonel Aung Htet Win, suffered serious injuries and minor injuries.
The military council did not say which group attacked, but the revolutionary forces said that the Federal Wing also participated in the attack.
