Sagaing Region. On the night of September 13th, the joint local defense forces stormed the entrance gate of Tabayin Township, killing 4 members of the military council and taking 4 weapons, according to the Tabayin Township Brothers’ Group.
The military council’s checkpoint in the west of the city was attacked by the regional defense teams. It is said that a Lance corporal, two police men, and a member of Pyu Saw Htee militia were killed.
A day after the checkpoint was attacked, the military council opened fire with heavy weapons yesterday morning. Last July 30th, when the Tabayin Local Mobile Team attacked the joint military council gate, six members of the military council were killed and the revolutionary forces confiscated two MA1rifle, one MA2 rifle, one MA3 rifle, magazine boxes, bullets, phone and bulletproof vest.
