In the early morning, the army offensive against Sarlingyi and Yinmarbin area. Residents fleeing on December 21st 2022, Sarlingyi Township, Sagaing Division. According to the local defense forces, the SAC’s army started the offensive against Sar Lingyi Township and Yinmabin Township at 4:00 a.m.
today and entered the Pathein-Monywa road in Sar Lingyi Township and Yinmabin Township, the local residents are fleeing. Residents said that the military group is from Monywa Na-Ma-Kha batallion and entering the villages on the side of Wang Pond company.
Residents are especially worried about the elderly and children as the SAC troops has enter the village early in the winter morning. The National Revolutionary Guards have issued a warning to local people not to travel along the Pathein-Monywa road in Yinmarbin Township starting from Myanmar Wangpond intersection (5/1 intersection) to Shwetaung U Pondkyokone for safety reasons.
