On February 26th, 2023 at around 9:30 a.m., a two columns of 100-strong SAC troops entered Khin U town in Sagaing Region and opened fire on villagers with heavy weapons.
According to Khin U News, the army column that left Ba Oh village and entered Te Su village which is located near Khin Oo – Ye-U road and started shooting randomly with large and small weapons.
The villages are Ba Oh Village, In Taing Gyi village, Kan Thit Village, Gwaycone Village, Myittaw Village, Tesu Village, Kin Pyit Village, Thargara village, Thayet kone village ,Thawitthi village, Myin dong Village, Myin Kya village, Inpart village, Chan Tha Kone village, Nyaung Pin Chan village, and Sae Gyi village.
