Sagaing Division Intaw Township, three women, including a CDM teacher in Intaw were sentenced to life imprisonment under under Sections 50(j) and 52(a) of the Anti-Terrorism Law for allegedly providing financial support to CRPH, NUG and PDF.
Those sentenced to prison are CDM teacher Daw Thein Hla and Daw Khin Nee Peu Tun and Daw Ayye, who are small business traders, were arrested at their home by the military council troops on March 5th. The three of them are being held in Katha prison.
On March 31st, Ko Aye Min Tun of Intaw was sentenced to life imprisonment under Sections 50(j) and 52(a) of the Anti-Terrorism Law for failing to report to the relevant authorities that he had allowed PDFs to cook and feed him at his home.
It is also known that 65 (65) people have been sentenced to prison terms by a military court in the area of the Northwestern Military Command, which has declared martial law. Photo. Indaw Revolution-IR
