It is reported that the military council burned three villages in Sar Lin Gyi Township, Sagaing Region on January 6th. It was reported by the locals that 167 houses of the residents were burnt to ashes.
On January 6th, the terrorist army attacked Phoung Katar Village in Sar Lin Gyi Township. It is reported that the soldiers raided and burned Binkar Village and Kyauk Phyu Tai Village, 167 public houses were burnt to ashes, and the monastery of Phoung Katar Village was also burned down by the soldiers.
The terrorist army destroyed more than 65 houses from Phoung Katar village. Two houses from Binkar village and more than 100 houses from Kyauk Phyu Tai village were burnt down. Residents unanimously said that because of the army’s burning of the villages, the residents are fleeing to safety and are afraid to return to the village.
