Aung Ko Oo (36 years old) from BGF 2nd Battalion to join forces with the Karen National Liberation Army and said he will fight together with KNLA troops until the end of the revolution.
Commander of KNLA – Cobra Column said that he brought 5 magazines with 5.56 -150 bullets and M16-A1 rifle and joined them.
It is reported that any soldier of the army under the military council who comes to join the KNLA-joint forces is warmly welcomed by the KNLA-joint forces and the people, and is also rewarded with money.
BGF soldier Aung Ko Oo, who came with a weapon and ammunition, was also warmly welcomed by the KNLA – joint forces, and KNLA – Cobra column operations commander Bo Da Baw gave a reward of fifty thousand (50,000) Thai baht as a reward.
