It is reported that the military council troops raided the village of Sone Chaung in Yinmabin Township of Sagaing Region and killed 14 people.
There were more than 80 people in that column, and they raided the village in civilian clothes at around 2 o’clock in the morning on July 21st. After the raid, about 30 men were arrested and 14 were killed immediately, defense forces said.
Among those killed were 6 people defense team members including their leader and 8 civilians, a total of 14 people were killed, he said. The bodies of the 14 victims have been recovered, but the news of the rest is still being investigated.
