Sagaing Region, Kani Township. It is reported that one PDF company commander of Kyauklonegyi KLG Brigade was killed during the August 10th battle near Shan Myaung Village on the Yaelaekyun area.
The soldier who died in the battle was a 33-year-old company commander named Naing Win. He died because he did not retreat to protect other soldiers while they were treating from the battle.
The body of the company commander was picked up yesterday morning, and more than 200 soldiers and citizens held a burial ceremony, picked up the ashes, and later built a grave and made it a martyr’s mound.
