On September 17, 2022, in Bangkok, Thailand, the Thai police raided and arrested a Burmese crony who was a drug and arms smuggler.
During the arrest, together with the crony, a bank book of the daughter of the military coup leader Min Aung Hlaing and the property documents of a condo unit worth US$1 million owned by his son Aung Pyae Sone were seized.
The arrested arms smuggler and drug trafficker, Tun Min Lat, has a connection with the children of military leader Min Aung Hlaing, Thai police have not yet taken action on the matter even there is an evidence. The Justice for Myanmar issued a statement on this matter and demands to take action..
After the arrest of Tun Min Lat, the Thai police seized real estate, cash, cars, Assets worth about $50 million were seized, including expensive watches and designer handbags.
The assets seized from Tun Min Lat have a market value of around 33 million baht. Also included are title deeds for a four-bedroom luxury condo owned by Aung Pyae Sone at the Belle Grand Rama 9 condo-minium in Bangkok for nearly US$1 million.
Thai police also seized two Siam Commercial Bank savings books belonging to the daughter of military leader Min Aung Hlaing, but the Thai authorities have not yet taken action to close the bank account, Justice For Myanmar reported.
