National Unity Government’s Foreign Minister Daw Zin Ma Aung and UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs James Cleverly held a meeting on February 6th at 3:30 pm UK time.
At the discussion, cooperation between the two countries on the issue of Burma, in order to stop the violence of the military group and discuss about ethnic minorities and other topics. In addition, during the meeting, they discussed recognizing the National Unity Government (NUG) as the official government and providing humanitarian aid to the people of Burma.
It is reported that Union Minister Daw Zin Ma Aung will continue to meet with other relevant officials during her trip to the UK to discuss cooperation on Myanmar issues.
