On January 31st, the Military Council approved the law on the right to legally bear arms.
The law approved by the military council is to allow the administrative chiefs, militia groups and veterans groups will be able to legally bear arms.
It is reported that the people are also worried that the law on the right to bear arms will increase the number of illegal and unprotected anarchists.
The weapons allowed by the military council are .38-inch revolvers and revolvers smaller than that. A 9mm pistol, a 12mm pistol, a sleek gun smaller than that.
Hunting guns and air guns with a diameter of 22 inches or more are allowed to be carried. Currently, the military council has declared martial law in 37 townships in four regions and four states on February 2nd. The law also allows one person to carry up to three (3) weapons.
It is also allowed to hold firearms for up to (1) year. From time to time, when the military council needs, for local security issues, law enforcement issues, stability issues, the person who has armed has to take part on the job as directed.
