According to local defense forces on February 25th, 2023 a self-established school near Ma Gyi Kan village in Myaing Township was attacked by gun fire from the military council attack helicopter Mi35 without a reason.
A military council helicopter attacked the school by shooting for 15 minutes. Locals said that some schools and homes were damaged due to military council helicopter`s attack, but the children were not harmed because they were able to escape in time.
