In commemoration of Pazigyi village air attack which killed hundreds of villagers, the People’s Defense Army (PDF) raised a flag at half-mark on pole for 5 days in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Division.
The Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government announced that the flag was ordered to be raised at half-mark of the pole to show the sadness of the civilian dead on the air attack by military council.
On the morning of April 11th, Pazigyi village was attacked by the jet fighter from the military council. Many civilians, including pregnant women, were killed and injured.
As of April 11th evening, at least 53 civilians were killed and many injured in the air attack on Pazigyi village, NUG informed that the death toll may increase.
