According to a press release from the Ta An Army (TNLA), a woman was wounded by a mortar shelling in Kutkai Township. On July 11th, at 11:10 p.m. in the afternoon a woman name Lue Aye Swel from Lwel Meinsa Village, went to Kutkai town for applying a ID cards Loe A-Swe (21) and Loe A-Rae, who were going to register in Kut Khaing Town, stopped on the side of the road when they heard the sound of gunfire from the 45th Infantry Division of Kutkai Town near Manpan Village.
While they were parked on the side of the road, a large weapon fell near them and exploded, resulting in the injury of Lue Aye Swel’s right thigh. TNLA said that from July 9th to 11th, the army stationed at 45th hill of Kutkai town fired continuously near the village with mortar shelling.
