The KNU Brigade (7th) issued a statement saying that the KTLA will not be allowed to make a movement in the area.

The KTLA, led by Brigadier General Saw Nada Mya, was not allow to make any activities in the Karen National Union (KNU) Brigade (7) area issued a statement by The KNU 7th Brigade on April 11, 2023.

Former KNDO Commander-in-Chief, Brigadier General Saw Nada Mya, was suspended from his position as Commander-in-Chief in 2022 in connection with the Wawlay massacre. In July, the Kaw Thoo Lei Army (KTLA) was established.
